Juneteenth Freedom Celebration

Saturday, June 21st from 11AM - 2:00PM

A special Juneteenth Worship Service will be held on Thursday, June 19th at 7:00pm in the auditorium at Lake Junaluska.

The Juneteenth celebration will be held on Saturday 21st from 11:00AM until 2:00PM at the Junaluska Gym. There will be an exhibit on Black organizations in Haywood County. Activities include an inflatable slide and bouncy house, and games for children and adults; plenty of the symbolic red foods, t-shirt sales, music, and food trucks.

Volunteers are needed to bake red velvet cupcakes, provide water melon, help with games, t-shirt sales, and to set up/take down tables and chairs.
