The Ethics of Worship

Bill Everett taught courses and workshops on the relation of worship to ethics in a variety of church settings throughout his teaching career. In this course he will lay out some of the framework he developed for thinking about the ethical significance of worship, both for individuals and for institutions. We will then reflect on the worship we have experienced here at First UMC and in other places where we have worshipped in order to form our lives more faithfully in worship.

This class will run for 7 weeks.
